Why forced conversions last for so many generations?
I have not enough words correctly, so I'm going to develop. In many places in history, indigenous people are forced to convert to the religion of their conquerors. But year after year later, the sites are still stuck the religion even though it was required. In many cases these sites are also very religious! One example is the spread of Christianity in Latin America by the conquistadors. Why these forced conversions in the last centuries? Angelo, yes I know that they spread the religion. My point is that many times the forcing religion on people.
The conquerors killed off all who do not follow their religion compelled. Those of the conquered who were afraid of dying, gave up their old religion for the new. So that means no one was from the old religion alive who could teach the old religion of the new children, even in secret. So the old religion died out and the new religion jammed ..
